"Since the end of the ten-year civil war, Sierra Leone has
played host to hundreds of development projects. Large scale NGOs,
such as CAFOD and UNICEF, as well as smaller local projects, are
rebuilding societal infrastructure. During my short trip, I was
glad to meet the men who run 'Talking Drum', a radio station,
and to see the Emergency Surgical Centre on the way to River Number
2 Beach."
